Our Mission

Yummy Tummy4Life serves up treats that make the whole family cheer, minus the worries and gluten. I’m Melissa, the brains (and snack enthusiast) behind this venture, born out of my epic battle with the bulge. Starting off at a solid 303 lbs, I set out on a quest to bid farewell to sugar and gluten from my daily lifestyle, and let me tell you my taste buds weren't thrilled.  

Picture this: The so called low-carb, gluten & sugar free snacks from the store? They left an aftertaste that lingered longer than a bad joke. What I craved was something that transported me back to the days when my mom’s baking left me licking the bowl, minus the sugar and gluten of course. Armed with determination and a rolling pin, I whipped up recipes that had me reminiscing about the days when I truly lived for the next meal.

At my heaviest, post-meal activities included dizziness and walking range of about one block before I sounded like Darth Vader. Single mom life became my reality check, with my daughter playing the role of the drill sergeant for change. Fast forward today - over 100 lbs lighter and 5000 cookies sold - my treats aren’t just helping transforming me (including a well balanced diet and exercise); They’re the superhero cape for anyone on the quest for healthier living. 

I played the culinary wizard, swapping ingredients for almond flour and monk fruit sweetener to swoop in and save the day. And in 2020, Yummy Tummy4Life made its grand entrance to the world!
